Our hand rejuvenation treatment is designed to help restore volume and support the natural structure of the skin. The treatment works by encouraging your body’s own collagen production, which may lead to longer-lasting improvements in skin strength and appearance.

Collagen is an important component of healthy skin, contributing to its firmness, elasticity, and hydration. As we age, collagen production decreases, which can result in visible veins, changes in skin tone, and thinning skin on the backs of the hands. This non-surgical treatment offers a way to help improve the appearance of aging hands without the need for surgery.

All treatments carry risk, our cosmetic practitioner will assess you to see suitability. To reduce any risks as much as possible, we perform the procedure carefully and gently. We are experienced in these procedures, and this further reduce the risks.

Our practitioner will work closely with you to evaluate your areas of concern as well as review your medical history, allergies, and pregnancy status to optimise your treatment.

Before the treatment, local anaesthesia will be applied to ensure your comfort. The bio-stimulatory treatment is then administered into the deeper layers of the skin on the back of the hand. The procedure typically takes between 30 to 60 minutes, depending on the treatment area and desired outcome. Most people are able to return to their usual daily activities immediately after the session.

You may experience some reaction to the treated area such as irritation, swelling and bruising. These possible side effects are usually mild and related to the procedure and disappear within the first few hours to two weeks if there is any bruising.

Because the skin on your hands are being plumped by the treatment, results are generally visible immediately following the procedure. While your body generates the new collagen, the results will continue to improve for up to six months. As the collagen is natural and generated by your own body, the duration of results is particularly impressive and may last two years or possibly longer.

• You may wish to gently apply a cool compress to the treated areas.
• You can gently massage the treatment area as instructed by our practitioner.
• Do not expose the treatment area to intense heat (e.g.: sun, solarium, sauna etc) for one week after treatment.
• We will review your results and advise further care as necessary 2 weeks after treatment.
