Lip Enhancement treatment is a relatively straight-forward procedure. The procedure usually takes about 30 to 45 minutes. Our cosmetic doctor or nurse will first clean your lips and surrounding areas. A numbing cream is generously applied to reduce any discomfort during the procedure.

After numbing, the lips are carefully treated and gently massaged to achieve a smooth, natural result. An antiseptic cream is applied afterward to support healing

Immediately after the treatment, you may experience mild swelling, tenderness, and redness but these side effects usually resolve within the first 1-2 days. Please avoid excessive heat, exercise, alcohol and smoking. The treated area should be kept clean.

After the procedure, you are allowed to perform light kissing only, such as a peck on the cheek or a slight puckering of the lips. It is advisable to wait at least 1 to 2 days before performing heavier or intimate kissing, as the fillers need time to settle and integrate with your lip tissue.

You will see immediate results following a lip enhancement treatment. However, it has to be noted that the final result will appear only after the initial swelling has gone down. Lip enhancement treatment generally last about 6 to 12 months, depending on your body metabolism and the product used. To maintain optimum results, you will need to repeat the treatment at 6 to 12-month intervals.
