Haytox Hay Fever Treatment

Haytox is a treatment that provides relief for the symptoms of hay fever, these symptoms include runny nose, itchy/watery eyes, congestion, sneezing and sinus pressure. This can be triggered by different kinds of things such as; outdoor and indoor allergens, pollen, dust mites or even tiny flecks of skin and saliva shed by your pets. Although hay fever can strike any time of the year, it mostly flares up in the warmer weather as we head into spring. Once Haytox is administered through the nasal passage this can provide much needed relief from the symptoms that occur throughout the year.

Haytox is a topical application of an anti-wrinkle medication applied via nasal passage. It is delivered via a spray which coats the nostrils, preventing the symptoms that are triggered via your nasal passages and over time allowing our immune system to recover. It has proven success in aiding and minimising the severity of hay fever and other allergy symptoms including runny or congested nose, sneezing, itchy or watery eyes, headaches and general tiredness. This treatment is not painful and does not involve any needle injections. Our staff will assist you to administer a saline spray to clean out your nose prior to the procedure for best results.

The treatment generally lasts approximately 6 months though this varies for each individual, and occasionally you may require a second treatment if the first treatment was not sufficient especially if you have severe symptoms. You will notice the benefits of this treatment within two weeks.

This depends on each individual and in some occasional cases a second dosage is required. However, it is recommended to come in for this treatment every 6 – 12 months for consistent results. For best results, it is best to perform the treatment before the symptoms for the season have started. However, treatment can be performed during any part of the year.

As it is applied via a nasal spray and there are no injections required, there is minimal downtime. Please be aware that the treatment often triggers a severe hay fever episode within the first two weeks, then the symptoms improve afterwards. You should not blow your nose immediately after your treatment. Our staff will provide you with all the aftercare information required during your treatment.
