IV Nutrient Infusions
Your body requires essential vitamins and minerals to grow, heal, and repair organs. Deficiency in these nutrients and antioxidants, along with stress, environmental toxins, alcohol consumption and poor diet and sleep, can all add up to a lacklustre appearance in your skin and poor health.
At The Lime Tree Clinic, we take a holistic approach by addressing both inner and outer health to enhance the cosmetic response for our clients.
We offer intravenous (IV) infusions, a simple and effective method to deliver key micronutrients to your body in order to maintain its functionality at the optimum level.

What is the procedure of having an IV Infusion?
Our doctor must first consult with you and prescribe the type of IV infusion you need for treatment. We will then disinfect the skin over the injection site, which is often on your arm. A thin cannula is inserted which remains comfortably in your arm to allow the infusion to proceed. You may experience a warm sensation in your chest or abdomen and you may have a sensation of “tasting” the vitamins.
IV infusions generally take about 30 minutes and during the treatment, you can recline on a comfortable chair, have some complementary tea and relax until the treatment is finished.
IV Infusions aftercare
Being well hydrated and eating prior to IV infusions may help to alleviate any side effects from the treatment.
